Program schedule: 5pm on selected Tuesdays (*except for 18 Aug tutorial which will be at 7pm)

Tuesday 4 Aug – Vector Functions with James Mott.

In this Student focused webinar we will analyse the behaviour of time-varying vectors using the TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Calculator. In addition to plotting the path of an object described by a vector function, we will also determine if, and where, the paths of two objects meet, and if and when they ever collide. Register for this live revision interactive webinar, work through sample problems and also get the opportunity to ask questions!

Tuesday 18 Aug – Vector Calculus with Bozenna Graham. (* start time 7pm instead of 5)

In this Student focused webinar we will combine vectors, differential and integral calculus, parametric equations and kinematics to describe the motion of particles in 3 dimensions. We will analyse how the velocity and acceleration vary with time given the position vector and also how to find the cartesian path starting with acceleration and initial conditions. Projectile motion and circular motion will be considered as particular examples. Register for this live revision interactive webinar, work through sample problems and also get the opportunity to ask questions!

Tuesday 1 Sep – Mechanics (Statics) with James Mott.

In this Student focused webinar we will identify forces acting upon an object on a flat surface, an inclined plane, and objects connected by string. We will resolve the forces to determine what, if any, net force is required to ensure the object is in equilibrium. Register for this live revision interactive webinar, work through sample problems and also get the opportunity to ask questions!

Tuesday 15 Sep – Mechanics (Dynamics) with Stephen Crouch.

In this Student focused webinar we will review Newton’s laws of motion and identify how calculus can be used to solve problems involving constant and variable forces. The speed and distance of objects will also be considered. Register for this live revision interactive webinar, work through sample problems and get the opportunity to ask questions!

Tuesday 13 Oct – Exam Revision Part 1 with Bozenna Graham.

In this exam focused student revision webinar we will work through carefully selected Specialist Mathematics exam style multiple choice questions, covering the five areas of study. We will demonstrate accurate and efficient strategies using graphical. algebraic and numeric features of TI-Nspire CX CAS Calculator. Useful examination and technology tips and tricks will also be offered. Register for this interactive webinar, download the sample problems and boost your exam revision

Tuesday 27 Oct – Exam Revision Part 2  with Stephen Crouch.

In this exam focused Student revision webinar we will use TI-Nspire™ CX CAS technology to work through carefully selected Specialist Mathematics exam style extended response questions, covering the five areas of study. We will demonstrate accurate and efficient strategies using functionalities of TI-Nspire™ CX CAS, appropriately chosen from its graphical, algebraic and numeric capabilities. Useful exam and technology tips and tricks will also be offered. Register for this interactive webinar, download the sample problems and boost your exam revision!
